Luciad Provides 3-D Spatial Processing Capabilities for SAP HANA

LEUVEN – Luciad software offers a spatial engine for SAP’s in-memory computing platform SAP HANA.

The SAP HANA product management team identified Luciad to bring high performance 3-D visualization support to SAP HANA’s SPS10 release.

The two companies began their collaboration in 2014. Several demonstration applications for smart farming, human geography and flight management are available online. Luciad’s flagship product LuciadLightspeed serves as the geospatial software for all three applications.

SAP HANA SPS10 offers integration of Luciad 3-D spatial processing, and LuciadLightspeed offers an SAP HANA data connector.
