Sharing is Caring

Earthstar Geographics LLC announced the release of TerraColor NextGen, the next generation of its TerraColor product line using new (2013-2015) satellite imagery. These products are large scale mosaics of multiple pan-sharpened true color Landsat 8 satellite images that have been carefully processed to provide high quality color and contrast. TerraColor NextGen products are also offered with a resolution enhancement option which can improve the user's ability to resolve smaller scale features such as large buildings, bridges and roadways.

“Recent imagery can be critically important for many applications, and TerraColor NextGen provides an up-to-date medium resolution base map of several areas of the world,” said Eric Augenstein of Earthstar Geographics. “NextGen also provides a perfect complement to high resolution imagery by providing a consistent, regional view in true color.”

TerraColor NextGen products can be purchased by individual country, or regions for areas where adjacent countries have been produced (such as the Middle East). They are suitable for mapping at scales of 1:60,000 and higher. New TerraColor NextGen products will be released on a quarterly basis.
