NTSB Geographic Information Systems in Transportation Safety Public Conference (December 4-5, 2012)

At the International Society of Air Safety Investigators Annual Seminar, held in Baltimore, Maryland on August 28, 2012, National Transportation Safety Board Chairman Deborah A. P. Hersman announced that the NTSB will hold a two-day public conference on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in Transportation Safety (December 4-5, 2012). The meeting will bring researchers and practitioners in the fields of transportation safety and GIS together to discuss how GIS data, technologies, and techniques are applied to improve transportation safety across all modes of transportation. This conference is open to the public and registration is free.
