PCI Geomatics Celebrates 60,000th Download of Freeview

-PCI Geomatics, a world-leading developer of remote sensing and photogrammetric software and systems, announced today that its Freeview software has been downloaded for the 60,000th time!

Freeview continues to be a very popular tool for viewing imagery and GIS data and offers a surprising amount of functionality for a broad spectrum of people interested in Geospatial data. Freeview is based on PCI Geomatics' full Geomatica software suite, and allows users to view, layer, and evaluate raster and vector spatial data effortlessly.

“Freeview has been regularly updated and made available for download for over ten years, and has been used by thousands around the world to explore Geospatial raster and vector data”, said Peter Hazlett, Geomatica Product Manager. “Through the development of our core technology, we continue to add more sensor support to Freeview.
