As plans for Cambridge Conference 2013 are released, senior representatives and leaders from mapping and cadastral organisations from around the world are being invited to reserve 21–26 July 2013.

The Cambridge Conference – hosted by Great Britain’s Ordnance Survey – is a unique occasion, giving experts the chance to discuss mapping and land-management issues which are of global importance. Held every four years, the Conference includes exhibitions, speeches, debates and presentations.

It is expected that more than 150 delegates from 70 nations will attend the event, which will be held in the tranquil settings of Churchill College, Cambridge, Great Britain.

The invitation-only Conference, which originated in the 1920s, is continuing to become increasingly global. The Conference will take place from 21–24 July 2013 and will be coupled with the third session of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM3), which will run from 24–26 July 2013.

In 2013, the Conference will revolve around the theme of ‘Bringing Geographic Authority to Information’. At the Conference, delegates will be able to debate on a range of issues – from the uses of new technologies, through to new and closer ways of working with our counterparts across the world.
