LOS ANGELES, CA, 01/22/14 -- iPrecinct, a Los Angeles-based startup that provides a digital platform and mobile application for campaign and non-profit management, today announced a long-term collaborative partnership with ESRI, an international supplier of Geographic Information System (GIS) software, web GIS and geodatabase management applications.

"We're honored that such a prestigious leader in GIS software is joining us in our mission to encourage political activism and combat voter apathy," said Lillian D Cavalieri, founder and Chief Executive Officer of iPrecinct. "With ESRI as our long-term partner, we look forward to creating the most advanced GIS-enhanced technologies in the poli-tech space while continuing to provide new levels of innovation to the industry in unprecedented ways."

iPrecinct is a nonpartisan digital platform that leverages data intelligence and real-time feeds to optimize grassroots organizing, non-profit initiatives and campaign efforts. Connecting different data sources into a single intelligent engine, the platform is paired with a canvassing mobile application, the only app of its kind to provide live, dynamic mapping that seamlessly adjusts as the volunteer moves. The platform's analytic infrastructure runs calculations over aggregate data to provide strategic recommendations to staffers by recognizing patterns. iPrecinct strives to extend access to all those who wish to participate in the democratic process and emphasizes a nonpartisan stance in order to focus on continuous integration of advanced technology into the political arena.

The partnership with ESRI will allow iPrecinct to operate with the most accurate and advanced GIS software on the market today, in turn giving users the ability to streamline their canvassing and operational strategies and develop customized key messaging for their constituents. While ESRI has begun to offer their technology to emerging companies on a subscription-like basis, iPrecinct is their first partnership where ESRI will have direct involvement in the engineering and design, culminating in a true long-term collaboration.

About iPrecinct
