SAIC Signs with DLT Solutions to Resell GeoRover® Geospatial Software

Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) recently executed a reseller agreement with DLT Solutions, a value-added reseller of industry-leading IT products and services, to offer GeoRover software products.

GeoRover software products provide customer-focused tools that allow for flexibility and improved overall productivity for end users geographic information system (GIS) desktop applications. The products are delivered as extensions or “plug-ins” to the popular Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI®) ArcGIS® Desktop GIS software.

GeoRover products are widely used within the Department of Defense (DoD). The agreement with DLT is intended to expand the use of these products to other federal, state, and local agencies.

“The GeoRover product line provides solution-based tools and enables customers to extend the use of GIS to a user base that may not use it now,” said Jeff Wilson, SAIC GeoRover product manager. “This agreement will help extend the potential market reach for the GeoRover product line. We look forward to working with DLT.”

More Details:

• There are more than 25,000 licensed GeoRover software product users within the DoD and intelligence community.
• The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) selected GeoRover software as part of its Integrated Exploitation Capability (IEC) workstation.
• GeoRover products are widely used with the U.S. Army Special Forces Command (USAFC).
• SAIC has recently been awarded a blanked purchase agreement under the U.S. General Services Administration SmartBUY program to provide GeoRover GIS products and services to federal, state and local government agencies.
