Tipton County, Tennessee extends Public Mapping

Geographic Technologies Group (GTG) is pleased to announce that Tipton County, Tennessee extended their Public Mapping to include Motor Vehicle Crashes. Tipton County, Tennessee implemented a public facing crime application, MapNimbus, in 2010. This application was very well received by the County and its citizens. Because of its popularity and ease-of-use, the County decided to extend the application to include calls for service and motor vehicle crashes. Bob Beanblossom, from the Tipton County Sheriff’s Office, presented the application at the Tennessee Governor's Highway Safety Office Lifesaver Conference this past week. Mr. Beanblossom pointed out that the audience was very impressed with the new functionality.
