TrafficLand Launches iPad App for On-Air TV Traffic and Weather Reports

Available in markets nationwide, the service geo-locates real-time video from Department of Transportation cameras on Google Maps with traffic flow-data Fairfax, Virginia, June 25, 2013--

TrafficLand®, the largest authorized aggregator of live traffic video in the U.S., announced today it is offering Broadcast 4.0, a new service for TV station news operations to customize content for on-air traffic and weather reporting. TrafficLand Broadcast 4.0 includes access to an Enterprise License for Google Maps and flow-data, plus real-time video from thousands of state and local Department of Transportation (DOT) traffic cameras across the U.S. Developed for the Apple iPad platform by TrafficLand and its development partner CLO Software, the application let’s news producers and reporters easily monitor local road conditions and quickly produce content for on-air traffic or weather reports. The application also offers a wide range of presentation options for Google map graphics, flow-data and camera video.
