URISA Leadership Academy Registration Discounts Expire on December 31

The URISA Leadership Academy (ULA) will be held in San Antonio, Texas, May 13-17, 2013. Likely participants are encouraged to take advantage of the super-early discounted registration fee (save $400 compared to the regular fee) before it expires on December 31. The ULA is a unique five-day GIS leadership training program, developed and taught by GIS leaders. The ULA covers numerous important topics including leadership styles; conflict resolution; team building; organizational capacity; change management; strategic planning; justifying and selling your GIS program; situation assessment; and professional ethics. The ULA is an interactive program and attendance is limited to encourage discussion and the sharing of ideas. More than 300 individuals have attended the ULA since 2007.
