The URISA Leadership Academy (ULA) will be held in San Antonio, Texas, May 13-17, 2013. Likely participants are encouraged to take advantage of the super-early discounted registration fee (save $400 compared to the regular fee) before it expires on December 31. The ULA is a unique five-day GIS leadership training program, developed and taught by GIS leaders. The ULA covers numerous important topics including leadership styles; conflict resolution; team building; organizational capacity; change management; strategic planning; justifying and selling your GIS program; situation assessment; and professional ethics.
