US Congressman & Intel Committee Chair Keynote Speaker for Space & Missile Defense Symposium

United States Representative Mike Rogers (MI), Chair of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence will be the keynote speaker at the 17th Annual Space & Missile Defense Symposium dinner on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the Von Braun Center (VBC). As Chairman, Rogers continues to be a leader in shaping U.S. national security policy.  While re-establishing the Committee’s traditional oversight functions, including passage of regular authorization bills, he remains focused on fostering bipartisan collaboration to provide our intelligence professionals in the field and at home the tools necessary to keep America safe and to thwart and confront existing and emerging threats.  He, with the Committee’s Ranking Member, Dutch Ruppersberger, recently introduced a bill to better protect America from cyber-attacks.  Chairman Rogers is also bringing focused attention to China’s continued emergence as a competitor to U.S. interests, and to threats
