USGS highlights
Matt Larson, USGS Associate Director for Water, will be a panelist in the opening AAG Presidential Plenary: Americas Climate Choices. (Wednesday, April 14, 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.)
In the panel session Geography for a Changing World, USGS scientists and managers will discuss current research activities and program directions in relation to land imaging, topographic mapping, climate change, ecosystem services, and natural hazard vulnerability assessments. (Thursday, April 15, 8:00 a.m. - 9:40 a.m.)
The USGS exhibit in the AAG Exhibit Hall (April 15-18) will highlight science themes of climate change, natural hazards, The National Map, and earth observation.
