IDV Solutions’ new Visual Command Center physical security visualization software will appear at the PPM2000 / Perspective Users' Conference 2012, taking place March 6-7, 2012 in St. Petersburg Beach, Florida.

Visual Command Center helps organizations prevent and respond to security incidents to protect people and assets. It unites data from multiple security devices and data sources into a comprehensive, real-time view on maps and floor plans, providing security operations command centers with situation awareness and context needed to make decisions and respond more quickly and effectively to man-made and natural emergencies, threats, and events.

Visual Command Center complements PPM’s industry-leading Perspective incident management solution by enabling security operations personnel to instantly see incidents plotted on a map, with the added contexts of time and relationships to other internal and external data, such as weather, disaster alerts, terrorism, or other events.

“Visual Command Center is scalable and flexible. In addition to the premium data feeds that are bundled with Visual Command Center, we also built in industry-standard data connectors such as SQL, SharePoint, KML, and others so that security operations centers can easily add information to their global- to ground-level security visualizations, ”  said Ian Clemens, Chief Technology Officer, IDV Solutions. “These data connectors also make it easier for organizations to integrate a complete security solution that fits their needs. ”
