More and more, users are demanding Web mapping applications that are intuitive and simple, yet highly effective.

With ESRI's ArcGIS Web Mapping APIs for Flex, JavaScript, and Silverlight developers now have access to free tools and interactive resources to develop highly functional Web mapping applications that provide a compelling user experience.

Developers can build these public-facing or business solution-focused applications quickly, by leveraging the ArcGIS Web Mapping APIs along with content from ArcGIS Online. Included are map and task services, content sharing capabilities, and a range of other online resources such as API samples and references, and code galleries. Applications built with the ArcGIS Web Mapping APIs and standard ArcGIS Online services can be deployed at no cost if they are for internal or non-commercial, external use.
