Although this is a product video, I think the concept of using a small, portable, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for orthophoto and digital terrain modeling was quite interesting. I saw the original citation in LiDAR News.
GitHub Now Visualizes geoJSON (with MapBox and OpenStreetMap)
