Spatial inaccuracies in your data can severely limit how and when GIS applications can be used across the enterprise, thereby diminishing the value of this technology and limiting its effectiveness.
Solving critical data management issues in a cost effective way is crucial for maximizing the return on an investment in spatial data. During this webinar, we’ll review four utilities case studies where conflation played a significant role in helping users increase the value derived from their land base.
RAMTeCH’s approach uses a proprietary data conflation solution called gConflate. This data conflation technology is based on establishing a comprehensive control model between source and target datasets to spatially realign the landbase and facility data to the new control / landbase data source. The conflation process only involves the geographic or spatial “realignment” of the physical location of the client’s facilities and does not involve any attribute or database changes.
