Join us for a conversation with Rajesh C. Mathur, Vice Chairman, NIIT GIS, and Anup Jindal, Chief Operating Officer at RMSI. This webinar is produced by Directions India.

The Restructured-Accelerated Power Development and Reforms Programme (RAPDRP) was the government’s renewed attempt to revive the power sector reforms. It seeks to eliminate the faults of the former avatar (APDRP). APDRP was launched by the Ministry of Power as a central sector scheme for improving the urban power distribution sector in the country with Power Finance Corporation (PFC) as the nodal agency for its operationalisation and implementation.

There have been discussions on the failure of APDRP and boundaries of GIS-based network mapping and energy accounting in the revised version. However, successful implementation of R-APDRP will pave the way for further modernization of the field of power sector.
