Maponics RegionConnect™ Pro

Brief Description: RegionConnect™ Pro allows the user to navigate from State > County. Selecting a county displays basic demographic data. Submitting the selection passes a list of ZIP codes, the county name, and the FIPS code to a javascript function that can be used to integrate the application with the end-users business logic. RegionConnect™ Pro works against flat xml files and requires only a web server and Flash 7 on the client side.

Database technology:  Although the application does not connect to a database, PostGIS was used to process the data that the application uses.

Brief Description: If you are a mountain biker, hiker, runner etc. in California this site is for you. This site makes it possible to create, store and share routes and tracks using a gps format called gpx. You can upload gps tracks to a personal acount and share them with the rest of the world. You can trace routes on a map, extract a terrain profile, get a 3D terrain model and export it to your gps device.

Globefeed Maps

Brief Description: On globefeed maps, the geo place names are nicely integrated with the google map. The text markers of the geo place names are displayed as map is moved and on double clicking at any location on the map, it displays the location details. Viewer can chat, ride on other viewers and can add new Spots at any location and email them.
