Meet the Directions Magazine TEAM
FUN Facts: Directions Magazine is owned and managed by women. The majority of our writers are women.
Jane Elliott co-founded Directions Magazine in 1998 along with her late husband, Scott Elliott. Both had previously founded Wessex, one of the first companies to offer desktop mapping and digital street and demographic data packaged together. Ms. Elliott has guided the company toward substantial growth during the Directions’ twenty five year history as the first entirely online geospatial publication.
Barbaree Duke serves as our Editor-in-Chief (2015) and Executive Webinar Producer (2013). She began with DM as an Assistant Webinar Producer for us in 2011. She's a published author, dedicated volunteer, and professional educator. Barbaree is passionate about empowering geospatial professionals with the tools and information they need.
Rebeckah Flowers is a freelance wordsmith with nearly 20 years of writing and editing experience in the worlds of publishing, education and corporate business acumen. She started with Directions in 2015 to keep our content looking good. Rebeckah also manages our social media channels and community blog at LinkedIn.
Lynette Quaglia is our Webinar Producer. She has a willingness to pitch in at any level and makes everything work better. She is the wind beneath our wings as she manages most of the behind the scenes technology and reports for our webinar program. Lynette makes webinars look easy.
