Lauri Sohl is the Civic Analytics Manager for the City of Sioux Falls and an adjunct instructor for South Dakota State University, and has over 25 years of experience as a Geography and GIS professional. After obtaining her BA in Geography from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, she came to Sioux Falls by way of Washington DC, and shortly thereafter, obtained her MS in Geography from South Dakota State University. She specializes in spatial diffusion theory and in the use of data and analytics to solve spatial problems, and, has been a featured Geoinspiration in Directions Magazine.
