Frank Romo is a community activist, entrepreneur, and urban planner from Los Angeles, California. Frank works with cities and organizations across the U.S. to advance equity in communities of color using community organizing tactics, innovative technical solutions and community-driven research. He is the founder of RomoGIS Enterprises: a data, design and research collaborative focused on harnessing the transformative power of maps, data and technology to improve the quality of life for underserved communities. In his personal and professional practice, Frank seeks to develop the next generation of technology and innovation leaders by empowering people of color with the technical skills to become better informed change makers in their communities.
