Jeremiah Greif

Elevation Work Flow Coordinator at National Geospatial Technical Operations Center, USGS

My Name is Jeremiah Greif, I have been with the USGS for 11 years in various roles. My most recent position is as the 3DEP Elevation Operations Workflow Coordinator where I spend the majority of my time planning improvements and troubleshooting our data production (lev8) and data validation (valid8) software. I initially was going to volunteer at the USGS while completing my master’s degree in environmental science and GIS but before I could they hired me full time as a pathways student and the rest they say is history. When I’m not wrangling massive amount of lidar/raster data I like to use the maps we ultimately create to ride my bike very long distances around my home state of Colorado.
