Amy Work is the Director of Geoporter, a non-profit working in Costa Rica to educate and train residents, teachers and youth how to use geospatial technologies to investigate and analyze their communities. She was previously a GIS analyst and education coordinator for the Institute for the Application of Geospatial Technology (IAGT) at Cayuga Community College in Auburn, New York, where she provided training, developed resources and supported the integration of geospatial technologies for K-12 educators and college faculty across the country.
