S.J. Camarata

S.J. Camarata currently serves as a Director of ESRI, Inc. and focuses on worldwide global corporate strategies and directions. From 1984 through 1996 he served as a Director of ESRI and was responsible for all of the company's worldwide sales, marketing, product planning and business development operations. He joined the OGC Board in 2001.

In parallel with his long career in executive management at ESRI, Mr. Camarata has been active in various business enterprises. He is currently on the Board of Directors of NovaLIS Technologies, Inc. and the Oregon Environmental Council and is a member of an Advisory Board for Utah State University. Previously he served as Cofounder and Executive Vice President of EBT Mobile Scanners LLC, a holding and management company in the field of mobile medical diagnostic technology, as President of GeoStrategies, as a co-founder and Vice President of IRIS International, Inc. and as a Research Associate at Utah State University.

Mr. Camarata holds a B.S. degree from the University of Utah, an M.L.A. degree from Utah State University, where he currently serves on an Advisory Board of the University, and is a member of the Sigma Lamda Alpha Honorary Society. He also sits on the board of directors of RAINS, Inc. (Regional Alliances for Infrastructure and Network Security).
