Bob is a professor of Geography and GIS at Central Washington University, having worked there since 2000. Prior to coming to Central, he worked in the Department of Spatial Sciences at Curtin University in Western Australia and as an Assistant Professor of Geography at the State University of West Georgia.
His teaching largely focuses on geotechniques (GIS, remote sensing, and cartography); his research revolves around GIS and remote sensing applications in environmental science and resource management.
In his spare time, he can be found chasing his dog in the hills, pumping iron, making sawdust in his woodshop, or serving time on the county planning commission.
