Dr. Pullanagari Reddy is a Senior Research Officer at Massey University in New Zealand. He was born and raised in an agricultural family in India. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from ANGRAU, Telangana, India, and a Master's degree in Agronomy from University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), GKVK, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He earned a PhD degree in an area of remote sensing from the School of Agriculture and Environment, Massey University, and has been working as a senior research officer in this same group since the completion of his PhD. Dr. Reddy’s main area of interest is precision agriculture studies where he works on hyperspectral sensing and imaging combined with advanced analytics such as machine learning and statistical learning techniques to create useful and robust information from the remote sensed data.
