Julie Jackson is the IT GIS Supervisor for the City of Tacoma in Washington State. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Evergreen State College and a Master’s in Natural Resource Management from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. In her current position with the City of Tacoma, she and her team build custom GIS applications, administer the City’s ArcGIS Online account and Open Data site, manage ArcGIS Server map services, perform spatial data analysis, create custom cartographic products and provide technical support to the City’s GIS community.
