Charles Staton is a Geospatial Solutions Engineer at Nearmap. In this role, he serves as a trusted advisor to customers and prospects, supports technical engagements, and influences the product roadmap by capturing and sharing customer requirements. He currently leads a team of Solution Engineers who demonstrate integrations and proof-of-concepts, and advise on the best delivery method (APIs, offline products, custom applications, etc.) for customers to get the most value from Nearmap content and products. Chardy has worked in several industries and organizations utilizing GIS, including Defense and Intelligence sales at Esri, Commercial Real Estate spatial data and marketing, and telecommunications and utility engineering. Chardy earned a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography, with an emphasis in Geospatial Environmental Analysis, from Virginia Tech.
