Tom Armitage

Analytics Consultant

Tom Armitage has been a GIS professional for 18 years and GIS trainer for 14. After 13 years working at the University of Edinburgh, supporting the use of geospatial data, software and apps he is currently an Analytics Consultant. Alongside this, Tom is also an Honorary Fellow at the University of Edinburgh School of GeoSciences and an active participant in the FOSS4G community. He recently chaired the FOSS4G UK 2019 conference and regularly helps organise the Scottish QGIS User Group meetings.
