Airbus Endeavr Chief Nick Crew to Inspire 4 Earth Intelligence Satellite Services Board

Bristol, UK, 28 July 2020 – Nick Crew, Chief Operating Officer of Airbus Endeavr, has been appointed as board advisor at international earth observation company 4 Earth Intelligence (4EI). With a remit to drive research and development in satellite intelligence products and data services, Crew will apply more than forty years' experience delivering large complex systems and service solutions for government and commercial sector organisations around the world.

 

In his dual role as research and technology key account manager at Airbus Defence and Space UK, Crew already works with businesses, such as 4EI, to inspire innovation that drives economic growth.

Nick Crew currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer for Airbus Endeavr, a not-for-profit organisation that commissions early stage research to address industry led challenges. A joint initiative between Airbus and the Welsh Government, Airbus Endeavr is committed to the research and development of technologies in the fields of digital services, secure connectivity, artificial intelligence and sustainability.

 

The 4EI team has already completed a number of flagship projects around the world including a new global air quality index, the creation of multiple iterations of the satellite environmental inventory of Abu Dhabi, innovative data fusion techniques in detecting soil quality and climate resilience analysis for Local Authorities in the UK.

 

4 Earth Intelligence (4EI) is a specialist in earth observation intelligence and data services. Built on decades of earth observation excellence, geospatial expertise and data analytics experience, 4EI creates data products, services and insights that enable organisations to manage risk and make informed decisions to improve outcomes.
