Simple GIS Announces the Release of Several New Product Versions for October!


Simple GIS Client Version 12.1.1:

Simple GIS Software LLC is happy to announce the release of version 12.1.1 of Simple GIS Client, a powerful yet lightweight desktop GIS solution for Windows. Version 12.1.1 builds on the powerful custom form designer built in Simple GIS allowing user to now easily link secondary tables to feature data while also allowing the user to build custom data pop-up forms for displaying and editing data for records in the linked table. Perfect for recording multiple related record entries to a feature, such as in asset inspections, land records, etc. The built in form designer provides powerful features for creating custom data entry and display forms with no coding or scripting required. Users can even easily add links to single documents such as spreadsheets, pdf documents, or photos. Users can even link folders containing multiple photos and display these photos in their data forms for features that may have more than one associated photo. Simple GIS Collaborate Plugin Version 3.3.1:

Simple GIS Software LLC is happy to announce the release of Version 3.1.1 of Simple GIS Collaborate Plugin for Simple GIS Client. Simple GIS Collaborate Plugin is a plugin extension for the Simple GIS Client desktop GIS application providing capabilities for publishing and sharing data. The Simple GIS Collaborate plugin provides method for users to publish maps as a Simple GIS portable map document for viewing in the free Simple Map Viewer Application or as a web mapping application. The version 3.1.1 release also includes capabilities to generate work orders for selected features. This feature allows small teams to share and update data in a controlled process by allowing an administrator to generate work orders for areas that need updating. Field users can open, edit, and post work orders back for processing by the administrator. The work order process includes conflict detection and resolution. The version 3.1.1 release also includes the ability to include records from any secondary table links and allows for updating of these records as well. Extended Geoprocessing Plugin Version 2.1.1:

Simple GIS Software LLC is happy to announce the release of Version 2.1.1 of Extended Geoprocessing Plugin for Simple GIS Client. The Extended Geoprocessing Plugin is a plugin extension for the Simple GIS Client desktop GIS application providing additional geoprocessing and data conversion capabilities not included in the core Simple GIS Client application. The version 2.1.1 release provides the additional capability to generate elevation contour lines from raster elevation data as well as two new data conversion routines to generate a set of shapefiles from a KML or KMZ file and vice versa.
