Liverpool, UK, 01 March 2021 – Fast-growing technology company Mobile GIS Services (MGISS) is moving to larger, self-contained premises in Liverpool, UK, following a record-breaking year which saw its turnover increase by 20 percent despite restrictions imposed by the pandemic.  MGISS is a specialist in high-accuracy integrated solutions for field operations - including pioneering Augmented Reality technology for visualising buried pipes and cables - used for managing assets and supply recovery in the utilities and infrastructure sectors.

The company is moving from its existing premises to new facilities within the Baltic Triangle area of the city. The new facility on Jamaica Street will provide MGISS staff with much-needed flexible space to accommodate more staff with a plan to double the workforce this year.

“We are excited to relocate to our new, larger office in the Baltic Triangle area of Liverpool,” commented Michael Darracott, Managing Director and founder of MGISS. “This move represents another significant milestone for our fast-growing company which despite many challenges saw a record breaking 2020.

“The new office space will better accommodate our growing team and will enable us to hire the additional talent we need to continue to provide industry-leading support and service to our clients. The additional space will also help drive innovation and provide the opportunity for further expansion into additional markets, product lines and services.”

Located within the Baltic Triangle area of Liverpool, often described as the city’s ‘Creative and Digital’ Quarter, the new space reflects the innovative culture of MGISS. The facility features technology-enabled stations where teams can collaborate on solutions with colleagues, customers, partners and offsite employees. The Baltic Triangle is an alternative hub with Tech start-ups in former warehouses close to the iconic Albert Dock.  In addition to its growing reputation for technology and entrepreneurial spirit, it is also home to studios, microbreweries, street food markets and outdoor events spaces.
