Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, was recently designated an Esri Cornerstone Partner, commemorating the firm’s 20-year partnership with Esri, the global market leader in location intelligence. Dewberry was recognized at Esri’s 2021 Partner Conference on March 17.

Dewberry has been an industry leader in geospatial and remote sensing technologies for more than 30 years, and was one of the first companies to hold an Esri Enterprise Agreement, providing enterprise-wide access to ArcGIS software as well as opportunities for collaboration in product development. The firm’s recent collaborations with Esri have included providing input on ArcGIS Pro tools to manage and manipulate lidar data, and advising on processes to assist in the development of the National Hydrography Dataset, managed by the U.S. Geological Survey.

“Our partnership with Esri has been extremely productive,” says Sid Pandey, CSM, a senior associate and senior geospatial technology manager with Dewberry. “The technology is versatile, which is a good fit for a firm like ours, with diverse services and client requirements. We can apply the software in a variety of ways and provide a wide range of solutions for our clients. There is always a new way to apply Esri’s technology.”

“Esri congratulates Dewberry on its 2021 Esri Cornerstone Partner award in recognition of more than 20 years of working together,” said Robert Laudati, Director, Global Partners and Alliances, Esri. “Most recently, we collaborated with Dewberry to support emergency response operations and process improvements at FEMA resulting in improved planning, coordination, and response.”
