WISER Systems, Inc. will exhibit its award-winning ultra-wideband (UWB) solution for real-time location and tracking live in Fayetteville, NC next month.

RALEIGH, NC, July 20, 2021 — WISER Systems, a leading provider of wireless real-time location systems (RTLS), will give live demonstrations of its innovative Locator system on August 4th 2021 at the 19th Annual North Carolina Defense Trade Show & Cybersecurity Forum.

WISER’s Locator system combines innovative UWB technology and a proprietary calculation system to deliver highly precise location data. The WISER Locator operates reliably indoors and out as well as in underground settings and industrial environments where real-time location data is especially difficult to obtain historically.

“It’s always a pleasure to showcase our Locator system live, but we’re particularly proud to be able to demonstrate what our technology can do for the United States Military,” said WISER CEO Dr. Elaine Rideout. “We’ve worked steadily for years to keep our technology ahead of the curve in location and tracking systems. We’re continually gratified that our efforts can address real needs for defense groups in North Carolina and throughout the country.”

Since WISER’s first defense contract with the U.S. Navy, numerous entities in the Department of Defense have used the WISER Locator for logistics improvements, process refinements, positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) applications, or other initiatives. WISER’s real-time location updates also support autonomous inventory processes, work-in-progress tracking, yard management solutions, and many other location-based process enhancements in addition to its various defense applications.

About the North Carolina Defense Trade Show

The North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC), Fayetteville Technical Community College, and the offices of Senators Thom Tillis and Richard Burr will jointly host this year’s Defense Trade Show (DTS). The event will combine a traditional trade show expo hall with networking opportunities for current and prospective defense contractors, numerous cybersecurity presentations and discussions, and open panels with personnel from Special Operations Command, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, the Marine Corps, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, among others.

About WISER Systems, Inc.

WISER’s innovative Redundant Radio Localization and Tracking (RRLT) delivers scalable real-time positioning without requiring—or interfering with—WiFi or GPS. The system autonomously reports precise (sub-meter-to inch-level) coordinates via a computer or mobile device and is accurate even without line-of-sight in cluttered, metallic, or complex manufacturing environments where conventional tracking technologies perform poorly. The system is lightweight and portable and can be deployed in minutes, indoors or out. Although WISER’s Locator has only been on the market for a few years, 25% of WISER customers are Fortune 500 companies, including several large aerospace, automotive, and defense organizations, as well as multiple U.S. Government agencies. WISER designs and manufactures its products in North America.
