Intuitive Critigen solution delivers enhanced data synchronization, scalability, and security for tens of thousands of field workers

DENVER (September 8, 2021) - Critigen today announced the latest release of Lemur, its mobile GIS solution. Lemur delivers enterprise mapping capabilities that complement field service apps used in utilities, oil and gas, transportation, local and federal government, and other large organizations.

The latest release provides expanded support for the enterprise, with enhancements to data synchronization, security, and more. Whether deployed for vegetation management or the inspection, maintenance, and repair of utility assets, Lemur’s latest release provides administrators new tools and options to optimize and manage their Lemur deployment. The R1 2021 release incorporates the Esri Runtime SDK v100.10, providing even greater speed and performance. In addition, the new Lemur Hub Connector can be deployed in the cloud, on-prem, or using hybrid models to integrate with ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online. This provides tighter, more seamless deployment of GIS capabilities in the field.

“The latest release of Lemur enables field service teams to complete tasks with greater efficiency and accuracy than ever,” said Critigen’s VP Product Strategy, Ty van den Akker. “It expands support for enterprise-scale management, so customers can better manage their networks and serve their customers. Mobile workflows capabilities are extended, connecting Lemur’s GIS tools even more tightly with enterprise field service apps.”

With more than 10,000 licenses, Lemur today supplies significant value to field service crews in several industries across the U.S. and around the world. Leveraging Lemur’s map interface, users can take advantage of in-app navigation menus to move seamlessly between field service apps, such as SAP Work Manager and Salesforce Field Service, to view fieldwork and GIS data, as well as initiate workflows and work orders. This seamless integration, without copy/paste or manual app-switching, delivers a fast, intuitive method for field crews to complete all aspects of their work.

Regardless of connectivity, users can locate assets, gain context to their work, and record tasks with redlines, as-builts, or sketches. Moreover, Lemur is designed for enterprise installations, including rapid implementation capabilities and a low total cost of ownership (TCO). It puts powerful yet intuitive GIS functionality into the hands of field workers without requiring specialized training.
