Lemur Capabilities Highlighted as Mobile Requirements Grow

Greenwood Village, Colo. (April 18, 2023) — Locana, an international leader in spatial technology, announced that its Lemur mobile GIS solution will be showcased at the International SAP Conference for Utilities in Basel, Switzerland and the ESRI International Infrastructure Management & GIS Conference in Frankfurt, Germany. Both events will address how mobile field work requirements across Europe are rapidly shifting — and how mobile GIS solutions are meeting those requirements, while increasing safety, reliability, and efficiency.

“The need for mobile geospatial capabilities that provide instant access to maps and geo-referenced business information will only continue to grow,” said Mike Housby, Locana Vice President and U.K. General Manager. “We are very proud of Lemur’s expansive footprint and know it will only continue to experience rapid adoption as the world’s businesses and organizations become more spatially driven,” he added.

In February, Locana announced that Lemur had been premium certified as an SAP Endorsed App with availability on SAP® Store as part of SAP’s industry cloud portfolio for the Energy and Natural Resources and Public Sector industries. The integration of Lemur with SAP Service and Asset Manager allows organizations to leverage, align and integrate their investments in both SAP and Esri GIS to make field work safer, more accurate and more efficient.

Lemur and SAP Service and Asset Manager integrate on-device without requiring a network connection. Lemur also provides native alignment with Esri’s latest software versions and deployment patterns. Built on Esri’s ArcGIS Runtime API, Lemur supports Esri’s named user licensing with dynamic activation from mobile users’ ArcGIS credentials.
