Environmental Scientist Yosef Shirazi joins Cardno Americas

Cardno is pleased to announce that Yosef Shirazi has joined the firm as a Project Economist in the company’s Wilmington, DE, USA office.

Yosef has broad knowledge of cost-benefit analysis, applied econometrics, and experimental economics. His extensive areas of research include ecosystem services, energy optimizations, electric vehicles, and vehicle-to-grid systems. He will assist the company by constructing analysis and evaluations on environmental projects, studies, and assessments.

He has a master’s degree in marine science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and is pursuing a PhD in marine science and policy from the University of Delaware. 

“We’re excited to bring someone with Yosef’s educational background and knowledge of a number of natural resource disciplines and their relationship to economics,” said Gary Harmon, Cardno Program Manager.

“He will be assisting our clients with analysis of data to help them make informed decisions that are critical to their projects and outcomes.”
