Sharing is Caring

Leuven, Belgium - Luciad, a world leader in high performance geospatial applications, is proud to announce its new V2017.1 version of its suite of geospatial software solutions.

Luciad’s V2017.1 includes updates and additional functionality for the innovative LuciadFusion platform, which aims at turning everybody into a geospatial data manager. Luciad uses the concept “One Minute Data Manager” as LuciadFusion easily accomplishes:

  • One minute setups
  • One minute publishing
  • One minute visuals
  • One minute discovery
  • One minute analytics

For V2017.1 Luciad is also focusing on enhancing both the user and developer experience with the new Lucy showcase, the LuciadLightspeed application component which allows for the rapid deployment of geospatial applications.

In response to the release, Luciad CTO Frank Suykens said: “With portable UAVs and sensors, we see more and more operational people acquire data locally, and they need to exploit their data right there and then. With Luciad we want to reduce the preprocessing and publishing effort of data as much as possible in order to optimize the useful lifetime of it.”
