Geo Delft 2018 Conference Brings Together Communities

Share

Sharing is Caring

The joint Geo Delft 2018 Conference will bring together communities from four related international organizations: ISPRS, FIG, UDMS and 3D GeoInfo. “Never before these leading geo-information science events have been organized within one joint conference at one location. We are therefore extremely proud to host this joint event”, says organising TU Delft professor of GIS technology Peter van Oosterom.

“Geo Delft 2018 will become a unique conference. It will attract researchers from academia, industry and government active in all geo-information fields: data collection, advanced modelling, data management, data analysis, dissemination, visualisation for a wide range of application domains.” Specific attention will be paid to 3D aspects, smart cities and cadastres. The various ISPRS working groups will run the whole week in parallel to the sequentially organized events of 3D GeoInfo, 3D Cadastres and SDSC. In the joint plenary sessions keynote speakers will address common interest topics. A special session will be dedicated to the best Dutch geo-information experiences.
