Hexagon, a global leader in digital solutions, opens HxGN LIVE 2018 today, its annual, four-day, international digital solutions conference. Held 12-15 June at The Venetian hotel in Las Vegas, NV, USA, HxGN LIVE brings together thousands of professionals to inspire forward thinking, disrupt the status quo, and accelerate innovative change across business and industry.

The conference presents an exciting line-up of breakthrough technologies driving Hexagon's Autonomous Connected Ecosystem (ACE) strategy – the delivery of industry-specific solutions that leverage sensing technologies, software, and data orchestration to create smart digital realities, where data is connected seamlessly through the convergence of the physical world with the digital, and intelligence is built in to all processes.

"HxGN LIVE gets more exciting every year," said Ola Rollén, Hexagon President and CEO. "Each conference becomes more diverse and packed with new and exciting innovations. We are proud to host change-makers from around the world whose visionary ideas and actions are moving industries forward in remarkable ways.”

The conference officially opens with Rollén’s keynote address, 'The Big Leap,' today at 5:30 p.m. PDT, where he'll inspire attendees to take that quantum leap forward as a next step in their digital transformation journey.

HxGN LIVE 2018 marks Hexagon's fifth annual Shaping Smart Change Customer Recognition Programme, which honours customers and partners for their pioneering use of Hexagon’s digital solutions. This year's recipients are: Airstream, Amtrak Police Department, National Institute for Aviation Research, Qingdao National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Special Operations Solutions, Suzano Papel E Celulose, Toyo Engineering Corporation, and York University.

"Creativity and determination are at the heart of true innovation," said Rollén. "Our Shaping Smart Change Recognition Programme honours organisations who are using Hexagon technology to advance their industries and transform how people work.”

Those who cannot attend HxGN LIVE in person can experience much of what it has to offer through a live stream of activities on HxGN TV. Footage, streams, and updates covering the conference’s six tracks – Geospatial, Geosystems, Manufacturing Intelligence, Mining, PPM and Safety & Infrastructure – will be posted throughout the week.
