GEO Jobe now offers security.manager ArcGIS Edition

MÜNSTER, Germany and NASHVILLE, TN, USA – June 21, 2018 — con terra GmbH, a leading provider of GIS software and professional services in Europe, and GEO Jobe GIS, creator of Admin Tools for ArcGIS and leading experts on ArcGIS Enterprise, today announced a partnership that makes security.manager – ArcGIS Edition available locally to the North American market, and beyond.

By becoming an official reseller of con terra Technologies, GEO Jobe now offers security.manager to its extensive base of existing customers, as well as to new customers both in the US and globally.

security.manager extends the security model of ArcGIS, allowing GIS Administrators to define permissions not just at the service level, but also to allow authorization of content at the layer-, feature-, and even spatial level. You stay in control of the level of information provided to individual users, meaning you can provide different groups with varying levels of access to a single service, greatly reducing the efforts and costs required to achieve your goals.

Speaking of the new partnership, Christian Elfers, Director of the con terra Technologies Division said “GEO Jobe is a well-established, and well-respected member of the Esri partner community, so we are very excited to build this partnership with them. They considerably extend the reach of our partner network, and make it easier for customers in North America to gain access to our software.”

David Hansen, Chief Operating Officer of GEO Jobe said the following regarding the partnership ” GEO Jobe is extremely excited to engage in this partnership with con terra. The security.manager product is an excellent fit for our existing userbase of GIS Administrators and power-users. This is an excellent opportunity for both GEO Jobe and con terra.”
