Raleigh, NC, January 16, 2019 — WISER Systems, Inc. experienced significant growth and progress on many fronts in 2019, including competing in NASA and U.S. military contests, exhibiting in numerous industry events, moving into a new headquarters, and hiring additional team members.

WISER began the year at CES 2019, where Fox Business News featured WISER alongside multinational companies like Samsung and Verizon as one of just 10 top business technologies to watch.

This summer, WISER moved into new headquarters. The new offices, located in downtown Raleigh, will allow the company to expand and accommodate its workforce and support the company's plans for future growth.

Earlier in the year, NASA named WISER a semi-finalist in its global iTech competition for technologies with utility in manned space exploration missions. WISER soon advanced to the top 10 finalists in the competition, presenting at the 2019 NASA iTech Cycle I Forum at the culmination of the contest.

WISER also competed in the finale of the U.S. Army’s inaugural xTechSearch program, demonstrating new system features developed for military use cases among just 11 other finalists from across the country. This followed WISER’s successful competition for Phase I, II, and III awards in 2018. Following an exhibition at the Army’s Global Force Symposium, WISER demonstrated new capabilities for several U.S. military organizations at Trident Specter 2019.

While maintaining its active events schedule, WISER also brought on several key personnel, including a new Director of Sales, a CMO, a Business Operations Manager, and two new software engineers. This made 2019 WISER’s most significant year yet in terms of team growth. In addition, Triangle Entrepreneur Scot Wingo named WISER to the Triangle Tweener list, which recognizes small technology companies advancing beyond the startup stage.

“Every year has its challenges, but this was a year of major triumphs for our team,” said WISER CEO Dr. Elaine C. Rideout. “For us, one of the biggest rewards of 2019 is that we can see our own acceleration. Our new team members, our new headquarters, and our growing pool of customers and partners have moved us to the next level. Stay tuned, because we’re looking forward to some ground-breaking announcements in 2020!”
