Dewberry Awarded UMCS V Contract Worth $2.1-Billion for U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center Huntsville

Dewberry, privately held professional services firm, announced that it has been awarded a contract for the procurement and installation of building systems from the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center Huntsville, referred to as UMCS V, worth a total programmatic contract capacity of $2.1 billion over a seven-year period.

The utility monitoring and control systems (UMCS) V contract can be used for performing service and installation work on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; building automation systems (BAS); supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems; electronic security systems; and other automatic control systems. The contract may also be used for services and construction for the renovation of various types of specialized building systems by any federal agency worldwide.

“We are excited to provide these services to the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center Huntsville over the next seven years,” said Dewberry Associate Vice President and Director of Energy Services Carl Lundstrom, PE, CCP. “Our goal is to use our expertise and experience with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to help modernize existing buildings and infrastructure, while improving facility security worldwide.”
