Sharing is Caring

Cadcorp is offering existing customers the option to transition their on-premise desktop GIS to the cloud

More organisations are turning to cloud technology to provide a secure and reliable infrastructure suitable for home working. Cadcorp customers can now choose to migrate their existing maintained Cadcorp SIS Desktop licences into a cloud-hosted and managed environment.

SIS Desktop in the cloud can be accessed as a virtual desktop application or via a web browser. No specialist hardware or resources are required making it ideal for remote and flexible working. The software is maintained and upgraded by Cadcorp, allowing customers to immediately benefit from new features in the latest release.

The service includes support, cloud storage, a hosted map data service, and an application health check with monitoring resources.

‘Introducing Cadcorp SIS Desktop in the cloud’ was the subject of a recent webinar and further details about all of the Cadcorp cloud services are available from www.cadcorp.com/services/cloud-hosting/
