From designing a geospatial database, to programming skills that help automate analytical and map-making tasks, to building a Web mapping tool that allows the public to access information, the five courses that are the focus of this webinar are designed to give analysts the tools they need to be effective in their jobs and to give managers the perspective to make strategic technical and hiring decisions.
The courses include: GIS programming and automation (Python), GIS application development (.NET), mashups (JavaScript), cloud and server GIS and spatial database management. These courses can be accessed individually for professional development or as part of a certificate or degree program and are offered in compressed 10-week terms designed especially for working professionals
