Deputy State Cartographer, Arizona State Land Department and NSGIC GeoWomen in Leadership Working Group

Jenna Leveille is the Deputy State Cartographer for Arizona. Graduating with honors from Oregon State University, she has been learning, practicing, and teaching GIS for more than 20 years. Jenna has extensive experience in data acquisition, database management, GIS user training, and project management. Jenna currently serves on the Arizona Geographic Information Council (AGIC), is the Chair of the Arizona State Board on Geographic and Historic Names and the Past President for the National States Geographic Information Council (NSGIC). Jenna participates as one of several Co-chairs on the NSGIC GeoWomen in Leadership Work Group.

NSGIC GeoWomen in Leadership Working Group

The mission of GeoWomen in Leadership Working Group is to empower women in GIS to strive for more leadership positions, in a multitude of ways - those can materialize and be practiced, both within NSGIC and in their respective state organizations or businesses. NSGIC provides a network to assist women in the geospatial field to advance their knowledge and skills, to be more successful, and to find fulfillment in their careers.
