Josh Nimetz is the Senior Elevation Project Lead for the USGS National Geospatial Technical Operations Center. His work with NGTOC involves technical program management of the National 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) and, recently, technical program management support for the new National 3D Hydrography Program (3DHP). Prior to joining the Geological Survey, Josh worked in the private sector geospatial data acquisition and production industry. Josh is a past director of the ASPRS Lidar Division and member of the ASPRS Positional Accuracy Standards v2 working group. He holds an ASPRS CMS-RS (currently inactive). His favorite part of working in the geospatial community – all the intelligent and enthusiastic people!
