Free Geospatial Seminars with International Experts

With just two weeks remaining, GeoAware’s GeoDATA 2015 series is preparing to welcome leading voices in geospatial innovation to Brussels and Amsterdam. These complimentary, one-day seminars are designed to deliver focused insight into the latest advances in geospatial technology, tools, and real-world applications.

GeoDATA 2015 Brussels will take place on 9 June 2015 at the Diamant Conference & Business Centre. The Amsterdam event follows on 11 June 2015 at the Mövenpick Amsterdam City Centre Hotel. Attendance is free of charge, but advance registration is mandatory through the GeoAware website.

Industry-Focused Programme and Technology Exhibition

Each seminar features a concentrated programme of expert presentations highlighting emerging developments in geographic information systems (GIS), spatial analytics, mapping technologies, and applied geospatial solutions. The sessions are structured to emphasize both knowledge transfer and practical implementation.

Complementing the presentations is a dedicated trade exhibition area showcasing current research initiatives and commercial innovations. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with specialists, explore product demonstrations, and receive tailored advice in a collaborative, face-to-face setting.

Participating organizations include GIM nv, Imagem, FARO, TomTom, 1Spatial, Airbus Space and Defence, European Space Imaging, Vicrea, Virtalis, The GeoInformation Group, and Juniper Systems. Exhibitor participation may differ between the Brussels and Amsterdam venues; attendees are encouraged to consult the official website for detailed listings.

A Broadened Professional Audience

Over time, the GeoDATA seminar series has evolved beyond its original concentration on local government professionals. Today, it attracts a diverse cross-section of specialists who depend on geospatial information across sectors such as insurance, defence, housing, utilities, telecommunications, and environmental management.

The programme is structured to accommodate both seasoned GIS practitioners and professionals who are newly engaging with geographic information technologies. The emphasis on practical learning ensures that attendees leave with applicable insights relevant to their operational environments.

Hosted by GeoAware with Regional Partners

The GeoDATA 2015 series is organized and hosted by GeoAware. The Brussels seminar is co-hosted by GIM nv, while the Amsterdam event is co-hosted by Imagem.

Additional event details, including registration information, are available via the official GeoAware website. Organizations interested in exhibition opportunities may request an exhibitor information pack by contacting the event organizers directly via email.
