The session will bring together industry leaders and policymakers to discuss emerging opportunities, national initiatives, and evolving market dynamics shaping the country’s geospatial sector.

The webinar will be moderated by Maneesh Prasad, Executive Editor of Directions Magazine India, and will feature presentations from two prominent experts in the Indian GIS community. Dr. Vandana Sharma, Deputy Director General and Head of the Remote Sensing and GIS Division at the National Informatics Center, will share insights drawn from her leadership in several large-scale GIS initiatives developed in collaboration with the Planning Commission and multiple central and state government ministries. Her experience includes overseeing major national-level geospatial programs that support governance, infrastructure planning, and public service delivery.
