Olivia DeSimone is a GIS Analyst with the City of Altamonte Springs in Central Florida. Originally, from Pittsburgh, PA, she got her BA in Environmental Studies from Temple University in 2013 and went on to work GIS-related positions with several non-profits before moving to Florida. She holds an ArcGIS Desktop Professional Technical Certification from Esri, and she obtained her GISP in January 2018. She currently volunteers with Women in GIS as the head of the mentorship committee which created and administrates the organization’s mentorship program, WiConnect.
